Drawing inspiration from her past and present life in Bahrain, Alanood created Anood Scents to bridge the olfactive heritage of the East with Western sensibilities. Each eau de parfum reflects her personal scent stories, shaped by cherished notes and cultural nuances.

Alanood rediscovered her love for perfumery during the global COVID lockdown. In that quiet stretch of time, she returned to the scents that shaped her—the roses, the jasmine, oud, frankincense, and amber—and felt her passion reignite. What began as a reflection became rediscovery. Her passion for scent was reawakened, inspiring her to study the composition of notes, ingredients, and essential oils.

Before launching Anood, she founded the acclaimed Gloss Beauty Salon in Bahrain, which recently celebrated its 16th anniversary. Over the years, Gloss has earned multiple Oh La La Spa and Beauty Awards, firmly establishing its reputation as a leader in Bahrain’s beauty industry. A true beauty entrepreneur, Alanood continues to explore new avenues of creativity and storytelling through both fragrance and beauty.

In 2025, she introduced her debut scent trio;  Deep Dive 1, Sunny 7, and Thorny 6 at Stele New York, a premier fragrance lifestyle boutique. The launch marked the beginning of her expanding olfactive journey.

When she’s not traveling the world, Alanood returns home to her husband and four children in Bahrain, surrounded by scents and memories that continue to inspire the stories for Anood.
